Carbon Peel Laser
The condition
May be considered, after assessment, for selected oily, congested, dull or uneven-looking skin, visible pores, uneven texture, fine lines and some mild acne concerns. It is not a guaranteed acne or scar treatment.
Skinfinity treatment
We may apply a topical carbon-based preparation and then use a verified laser platform, often a Q-switched Nd:YAG device where clinically appropriate, to heat and remove the carbon. The exact carbon product, laser, wavelength, settings and number of passes are chosen and explained after your assessment.

What is the condition?
Carbon Peel Laser is not a disease. It is a cosmetic treatment sometimes considered, after assessment, for oily skin, blocked or enlarged-looking pores, a dull surface, uneven texture, fine lines and some mild acne. It is not a guaranteed acne or scar treatment.
Acne, dark patches or a changing mark may have other causes; persistent, painful, scarring or severe acne needs medical review rather than cosmetic treatment alone.
The availability of this service at our clinic does not by itself establish a diagnosis or a standardised medical indication for you. Evidence and limits are summarised in the cited sources1234.
How Skinfinity treats this concern
When suitable, we may apply a topical carbon-based preparation (a carbon suspension) and then use a verified laser protocol to heat and remove the carbon, along with some surface oil and debris.
Published protocols often use a Q-switched 1064-nanometre Nd:YAG laser. We will tell you whether this is the equipment and protocol actually used for your treatment.
The exact carbon product, laser, wavelength, settings and number of passes will be chosen and explained after your assessment. The exact product, equipment, settings, route, number of visits and responsible clinician are explained and recorded during your consultation; they should not be inferred from the service name.
We check the manufacturer's instructions and the applicable Indian and local regulatory requirements before treatment.
We present Carbon Peel Laser as a carefully selected device-based option for selected oily, congested or dull-looking skin, not as a guaranteed cure for acne or pores.
What we confirm with you before treatment
- The carbon product used
- The laser model
- The wavelength
- The laser settings
- The number of passes
- The eye protection used
- The operator's training and qualifications
- The product and device authorisation
- The manufacturer's instructions and applicable Indian and local regulatory requirements
- Your cold-sore and medicine history
- Your consent and follow-up arrangements
What outcome can you expect?
A reasonable goal is skin that looks temporarily fresher, smoother and less oily, with pores appearing less noticeable.
Results vary with the concern, skin type, settings and aftercare. Small studies do not guarantee lasting improvement.
It cannot promise clear skin, permanent pore reduction, removal of acne scars or wrinkles, or complete removal of dark patches, and it does not stop new acne or sun-related pigmentation.
Ask for a realistic, individualised plan rather than a guaranteed before-and-after promise. Where a condition may recur or continue, long-term management may be more important than a single cosmetic session.

Suitability, limitations and safety
Carbon Peel Laser is a laser treatment and must be performed with appropriate eye protection, by trained staff under trained supervision.
Darker skin and melasma-prone skin need careful assessment and individualised settings.
Tell your clinician about recent tanning, photosensitive medicines and other medicines, pregnancy, active infection, cold sores, abnormal scarring, allergies and previous laser reactions.
Possible reactions include redness, burns, pigment change, infection and scarring. Persistent or severe acne may need medical treatment instead.
Your provider should confirm their qualifications and review your medical history, medicines, allergies, pregnancy considerations and any contraindications. Sterile technique and single-use components are used where relevant, your privacy is protected, and informed consent, alternatives, expected discomfort and costs are documented.
Treatment should not go ahead over an unexplained lesion or hair-loss pattern until a qualified clinician has assessed it.
Contact the clinic promptly for worsening symptoms. Seek urgent medical care for breathing difficulty, severe pain, heavy bleeding, rapidly increasing swelling, neurological symptoms or other emergency signs.
We do not describe regenerative or stem-like products, including exosomes, Dutexomes, QR678, fillers and threads, as approved or proven without product- and country-specific verification.
