What is the condition?
Our service list confirms the name but gives no condition or indication. “Stem cell therapy” is a broad label, not one defined cosmetic treatment.
A clinician must establish the diagnosis and explain whether the proposed use is research, an authorised indication or neither. It should not be assumed to be a cosmetic skin-rejuvenation treatment.12
How Skinfinity treats this concern
This service is not offered until the required documentation is available.
Before any consideration, we must identify the product and manufacturer; the cell source; whether cells are your own (autologous) or from a donor; whether the product contains live cells, conditioned medium or extracellular vesicles; the collection and processing site; sterility and infectious-disease testing; identity and viability testing where relevant; the dose, route, storage and expiry; Indian regulatory authorisation; clinician credentials; consent; the emergency plan; and follow-up.
What we confirm with you before treatment
- The diagnosis and whether the proposed use is research, an authorised indication or neither
- The product and manufacturer
- Cell source, and whether cells are autologous or from a donor
- Whether the product is live cells, conditioned medium or extracellular vesicles
- Collection and processing site
- Sterility and infectious-disease testing
- Identity and viability testing where relevant
- Dose, route, storage and expiry
- Indian regulatory authorisation
- Ethics or clinical-trial oversight
- Safety records and supporting evidence
- Clinician credentials
- Your written consent, emergency plan and follow-up
What outcome can you expect?
No specific outcome can be promised, because the product and indication have not been defined.
Evidence for aesthetic skin rejuvenation is early and heterogeneous, and does not support presenting an unspecified service as a proven, routine cosmetic treatment.
Any discussion must be based on the exact product, route, study population and regulator-approved indication, if one exists.34

Aftercare and long-term support
- There is no safe generic aftercare plan until the procedure is defined.
- If an authorised protocol exists, the responsible clinician must give written instructions, follow-up timing, emergency contact details and warning signs.
- Report severe or rapidly worsening pain, redness, swelling, fever, drainage, breathing difficulty, facial swelling, vision change, weakness or other concerning symptoms immediately.
Suitability, limitations and safety
The U.S. FDA states that approved stem-cell products in the United States are limited to blood-forming cells from umbilical cord blood for disorders of blood production, not cosmetic skin rejuvenation.
Unapproved regenerative products have been associated with infection, contamination, unwanted immune reactions, unintended tissue growth or tumours, neurological events and blindness.
Indian guidelines describe most non-established uses as investigational, requiring appropriate regulatory, ethics and clinical-trial oversight.
Safeguards such as sterile technique, traceability, screening, consent and emergency planning do not establish that a treatment works.1254
This service is not offered as a routine cosmetic booking until product-specific authorisation, ethics or trial oversight, safety records and evidence have been verified.
